Marty made another pear clafouti today — it tastes as good as it looks We (I) want to try apple and plum eventually, but the pears are so good now, I’ll wait.

I’m doing a brisket bbq on the grill. Just hoping it will be edible. If not, at least we’ll have dessert.

We (Steph, Marty, and I) took a drive to Kirtland and visited the Holden Arboretum. It was a picture perfect day, as you can see. We arrived about noon and spent an hour in the butterfly garden, then we took a 1 hour tram ride through the various areas. We’ll make a number of future visits to see more.

We made a quick round trip today to visit with Mike, Jenn, and Caleb. It was great — well worth the driving. Here are a few pictures.
