Marty made another pear clafouti today — it tastes as good as it looks
We (I) want to try apple and plum eventually, but the pears are so good now, I’ll wait.

I’m doing a brisket bbq on the grill. Just hoping it will be edible. If not, at least we’ll have dessert.

Bad news–not easily vegan-ised. Eggs, milk, sugar, flour & vanilla (kinda like slightly sweet yorkshire pudding) poured over those lovely pears and baked. Gorgeous looking, easy, AND I don’t think it’s too evil–little sugar and no fat. Just right for retired geezers. yum!
