Alone in the Wilderness (i.e. basement)
Inspired by Richard Proenneke’s documentary of his solitary life in the Alaska wilderness, I replaced the handle on one of my most prized hand-tools. While I took a few shortcuts — no tree was harvested in the process, and I used the electric drill, and I worked under artificial light in a cozy 65 degree basement workshop — I take much pride in my accomplishment.
