Great day in Lima
Sunday, March 18th, 2007We had a great visit today with Caleb and his Mom and Dad.   It was a beautiful day for the drive and we had much fun reading Thomas the Train and going to lunch together.   On the way, we also saw a humorous (or disturbing?) billboard.  I think I’d want to investigate further before moving into the Inn at Westbrook — wouldn’t you?
This WILL make you smile :-)
Friday, March 16th, 2007Pi Day — it’s come and gone!
Thursday, March 15th, 2007Ahhh!
Sunday, March 11th, 2007Today it’s blue skies and temperatures in the 40′s (F) — a high of 50 forecast.   The birds are singing again, and the snow is almost gone.   We pruned the grapevines for the first time.   The arbor looks pretty barren now, and it’s a little scary — did we take off too much? did we leave the right shoots?  We’ll see.  Last year’s crop was so sparse, I doubt we could be worse off.
Elusive signs of Spring
Wednesday, March 7th, 2007After a week of warm weather and morning bird songs, Winter reasserts control of our world . . .
Poppy’s Birthday
Monday, March 5th, 2007Today was the party celebrating Poppy’s 83rd birthday.  It was quite an affair, as you can see in these photos and videos.  A very happy gathering!
